Get The Illusion of Thicker, Fuller Brows…

Here’s a tip best for those of us with barely-there eyebrows: tinting your brows can give more noticeable thicker brows, without having to pencil/fill them in. For those with already thick brows, this tip will help enhance your brows and fill in thinner gaps.

Makeup artist, Jackie Aina of  Makeup Game on Point (Yes, Yes! We love our Jackie videos… But that’s because she gives such Awesome video tutorials!), shows us in this tutorial video, how to tint your eyebrows at home, using inexpensive products you can find from quite a few beauty stores.

These are the Products used:

Note:

  • She used the color 4N demipermanent hair colour, which is a dark brown depth/level 4.
  • Make sure to read the manufacturer’s instructions, especially in regards to mixing proportions.
  • Make sure to do a patch test first, to make sure you are not allergic to the hair dye/colour. The video below shows you how you can do this:

The results you get are natural, non-dramatic thicker looking brow. Because Jackie already has pretty thick/full brows, the results are not as noticeable as those of  finer or lighter brows being tinted… However, the gaps that were once there are filled and her brows definitely look darker, thus making them appear fuller.
Tips:

  • Try to avoid doing this after a brow wax as pores will be open and it might burn a bit.
  • Works awesome for the fine haired/light haired browed ladies!
  • Lasts 3-4 weeks
  • This is a softer approach to brow tinting. Permanent hair dyes, as oppose to demipermanent, are much harsher and last longer.

Hope you ladies find this useful.
